This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how SearchIQ (the “we” or the “Company”) collects, uses, discloses, protects and shares personal information when you visit our site and/or use our Service. This Policy does not apply to websites that post different statements.

We collect the following data about a Publisher: Contact details, Payment data, Account data and Security Credentials. This data is given to SearchIq during the sign-up process prior to entering into an agreement to receive the Service.

When a user visits a Publisher’s website that uses the Service we collect the following information:

Browser information (e.g. URL, browser type, ‘click through’ data), Ad reporting or delivery data (e.g. size/type of ad, ad impressions, location/format of ad, data about interactions with the ad), Device-type information (e.g. screen dimensions, device brand and model), Unique identification numbers (e.g. IP address and mobile/cell phone device ID), Location data (as derived from IP address or GPS (for mobile)) and Interest segments (i.e. inferred information on the behavior or likely interests associated with a device or a search query).

Cookies and Other Similar Technologies.  We use cookies (a small file containing a string of characters that uniquely identifies your web browser), web beacons (an electronic file placed within a website that monitors usage), pixels, etags, and similar technologies to operate and improve our Service.

Disabling/Enabling cookies via your browser

3. The purpose of collecting the data and the lawful basis

All data that is collected is to enable SearchIQ to execute the contract between SearchIQ and the Publisher and to maintain records as required by law. As per Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), the lawful basis “legal” and “contract” apply.

SearchIQ will use Publisher contact details for service announcements and these communications are covered by the legal basis “contract”.

The data that is collected from users of a Publisher’s website is used to:

Provide the Service, Provide relevant advertising, Research and innovate the Service, Security (i.e., prevent fraud) and To comply with the law.

4. Third Parties with Whom We Share Your Data.

a. Affiliated Entities. We may transfer your information to other related and/or affiliated entities. For example, we may provide your information to Ad.net which may provide advertising services as part of the Service. A link to Ad.net’s privacy policy may be found on their site.

b. Third Party Service Providers. We will not share your information without your permission, except as provided in this Privacy Policy. We will not share your data with third parties that will directly contact you without your explicit consent to be contacted by a partner.  However, we will share your information with third parties such as our data hosting provider and credit card processor to provide you with the Service. Our service providers are required by contract to safeguard any data they receive from SearchIQ and are prohibited from using the data for any purpose other than to perform the services as instructed.

c. Corporate transactions. In the event SearchIQ decides to sell, buy, merge or otherwise reorganize its businesses, we may disclose or transfer your information to prospective or actual purchasers, or receive your information from sellers.

d. Compliance with law. We may also share your information when we believe, in good faith, that we have an obligation to do so as a matter of law or to comply with a law.  This includes, but is not limited to, responding to duly authorized information requests of law enforcement agencies, regulators, courts, and other public authorities, including to meet national security or other law enforcement requirements and complying with any law, regulation, subpoena, or court order.

5. Security Measures

We have reasonable security measures in place and technologies to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of your information under our control but we cannot assure that your information will never be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy.

6. Reviewing and Updating Information

We take reasonable steps to ensure that information is accurate, complete, current, and reliable for its intended use. For contact or billing information submitted through our website, you may review, correct, update, or change your information. 7. Retention

We retain the data that we collect for up to 18 months from the date of collection.

8. Children’s Privacy.

We do not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register for the Service. The Service and its content are not directed at children under the age of 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

9. Links to Other Services and Websites.

We are not responsible for the practices employed by websites or services linked to or from the Service, including the information or content contained therein. Please remember that when you use a link to go from the Service to another website, our Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services. Your browsing and interaction on any third-party website or service, including those that have a link or advertisement on our website, are subject to that third party’s own rules and policies.
